First of all, hello and thanks for visiting my homepage.  I am a Management Information Systems major who recently earned a New Media Certificate at the University of Georgia.  I have been creating websites professionally since 2005 when I founded my company, Thrasher, LLC.  I was 16 and still in high school.  I focus on design, usability and social media.  As I work on my degree I will begin to engage more in database design and internet technology.  I offer reasonable prices and am able to meet with clients at their own homes or wherever they like.

In 2007 I was hired by the Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute (BHSI)  at the University of Georgia as a web designer.  I work part time on campus in the Paul D. Coverdell Center and created and manage around 15 websites for the university.  I love my job and everyone I work with at BHSI and hope to continue working with them until I graduate.

My skills progress each and every year. I do my best to stay fresh with the latest technologies and trends by attending DWEEBS (the University’s faculty and staff web group) meetings where we have excellent guest speakers from Adobe and W3C to name a few. I recently earned a New Media Certificate from the UGA Grady school of journalism that certifies my expertise in the application and development of new media technologies. Through the certificate program I learned more about the development and applications of mobile and social media and developed an iPhone application called Pao for my final project.

Apart from work and school, I do actually have a life (mario kart). Haha.  While I do like to enjoy video games I did take piano lessons for nine years.  I do not play professionally anymore but I still enjoy playing for myself.   I created a web dvd of my senior recital on my portfolio page.
